Episode 53 - Anita Knutson
It was the weekend of June 2, 2007, and Anita Knutson was living in her off-campus apartment at the time, near her school, Minot State University. The drive home to her parents in their small North Dakota town was only an hour or so, and Anita was very closer with her family. This made it easy for her father to go to her apartment and check on her after the family didn't hear from her for a day or two. What was found could only be described as horrific for any parent to find. What's worse is that for the next almost 15 years, Anita's murder has remained unsolved. However, as of March 2022, some progress has been made and we are all hoping we finally get some answers, as well as some justice.
